Primaris Space Marines are the next step in the evolution of the Adeptus Astartes. They are larger and more physically powerful than their standard cousins, in addition to having a more stable gene-seed. These mighty warriors have appeared in the closing days of the 41st Millenium following the Thirteenth Black Crusade and resurrection of Roboute Gulliman.

Primaris Space Marines have been genetically altered by Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl to be bigger, faster, stronger than their Space Marine bretheren. The seed of their creation lies in the aftermath of the Horus Heresy, when the Ultramarine Primarch charged Cawl with creating a new legion of warriors that would aid the Imperium in its next darkest hour. Guilliman gave Cawl the Sangprimus Portum, which allowed the Archmagos access to information regarding all twenty Primarchs themselves. Nonetheless, the task would take ten thousand years to complete and now, when the Imperium is poised on the brink of annihilation, the Primaris Space Marines have been unleashed to fight against the Chaos hordes of the Despoiler.

This huge army of Ultramarine Primaris Space Marines (over 4000 points and 120 models) would look great in anyone’s display cabinet and can also be used as an Adeptus Astartes army in Warhammer 40,000. There are also units in this army that could work in an Ultramarine Legion army for the The Horus Heresy.

In addition to the army and objective markers, this raffle also contains a unique Ultramarines wallhanging, digitally sculpted and 3D-printed, to decorate your fortress-monastery. The wall-hanging measures 9” x 8”.

NOCF thanks Alexander, John and Wes. This is the first year the Chapter of Hope team have provided their offering (including the Deathwatch army being raffled this summer!)

2018 ARMY: 40K CHAPTER of HOPE DEATHWATCH

$2 – Unlimited Tickets

The Deathwatch Space Marines serve the Ordo Xenos of the Imperial Inquisition as its Chamber Militant, the warriors of last resort when the Inquisition needs access to firepower greater than the Imperial Guard or a team of its own Acolytes or even Throne Agents can provide. Across the galaxy there are innumerable hostile alien civilisations that threaten Mankind, from the green-skinned Orks, to the monstrous Tyranids, sadistic Dark Eldar, spectral C’tan, and undying Necrons. It is the sacred task of the Deathwatch to stand sentry against all of these terrible xenos races. They are ready to act when such ancient evils rise to threaten Mankind once more. The Space Marines of the Deathwatch form the first, and often only, line of defence against these inhuman horrors.

Unlike other Space Marines, the ones serving in the Deathwatch are not truly a separate Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes; rather, they are a collection of Veteran Space Marines drawn from all of the different extant Chapters who serve together in the Inquisition’s service for a discrete period of time.

This is a truly unique army, loaded with many characterful conversions, and stands ready to conquer alien foes on the tabletop in your games of Warhammer 40,000.

NOCF extends its sincere appreciation to Josh and Alexander. This is the first year the Chapter of Hope team have provided their offerings – this amazing Deathwatch and the enormous Chapter of Hope Ultramarines.

2018 MODEL: “ORK BERSERKER,” Reaper Miniatures
Donated and Painted by: Sean Fulton of Jabberwocky Miniatures
$2 Tickets;
Only 500  will be sold
On July 1, 2018: Purchase tickets here

Truly mad when unleashed upon the battlefield, the berserkers encapsulate the highest ideal of the warrior. Eschewing all thoughts of self-defense, the berserkers desire nothing more than to slay everything they can see. They have even been known to attack other orcs, forgetting that the enmities of the clans have been set aside for now, but every leader sees their value.

This model – from Warlord range by Reaper Miniatures – would look great in anyone’s display cabinet, and could also be used in a variety of roleplaying and other fantasy games.

2018 ARMY: 30K “IRON WITHIN,” Iron Warriors

2018 ARMY: 30K “Iron Within,” an Iron Warriors army
Painted by:  Ryan Kimmel, Joel Moon, Scott Switzer, Jason Turner
$2 – Unlimited Tickets
On July 1, 2018: Purchase tickets here
Proceeds will benefit Doctors Without Borders

The Iron Warriors’ speciality is siege warfare and the reduction of fortified positions, which made them natural rivals of the Imperial Fists, even before the Heresy. The Iron Warriors are fierce close-range fighters; witnesses compare their ferocity to the World Eaters or Blood Angels Legions. They make common use of slave-soldiers as cannon fodder to thin the ammunition supplies of the besieged and to locate the positions of enemy gun emplacements.

This infantry-heavy army is a great starting force for any player new to The Horus Heresy, and also makes a great addition to any existing Iron Warriors collection.

NOCF thanks the great artists contributing to this project: Ryan Kimmel, Scott Switzer, and Jason Turner (all returning for their second year as part of the NOCF Artists’ Consortium), and Joel Moon, who is generously back for his third year.

LIST:

  • 1x Narik Dreyger (Ryan Kimmel)

2018 MODEL: SW X-Wing “DARTH VADER”

2018 MODEL: SW X-Wing “DARTH VADER”
Donated and Painted by: Mark Sorastro of Sorastro’s Painting
$2 Tickets; Only 500  will be sold
On July 1, 2018: Purchase tickets here
Proceeds will benefit Doctors Without Borders

ACTUAL MODEL

Once a heroic Jedi Knight, Darth Vader was seduced by the dark side of the Force, became a Sith Lord, and then led the Empire’s eradication of the Jedi Order. He remained in service, for two decades, to the Emperor – the ultimate evil, Darth Sidious. Vader was an enforcer of his Master’s will, with his only purpose the total annihilation of the fledgling Rebel Alliance. But somewhere, buried deep within, there was still good in him . . .

In addition to the model above, you can also see Sorastro’s painting guide for painting Darth Vader models on Sorastro YouTube.

Our welcome to Mark Sorastro, who is making his first appearance as a member of the NOCF Artists’ Consortium this year.

2018 ARMY: 30K “BLOODY FEAST,” World Eaters

2018 ARMY: 30K “Bloody Feast,” a World Eaters army

$2 – Unlimited Tickets

From the beginning of the Horus Heresy, the World Eaters have fought in the vanguard of every battle, fighting in the bloodiest assaults, preferring to tear their enemies apart in melee rather than rely on long-range firepower. Angron’s warriors cut a bloody swathe across the galaxy towards Terra, drinking the blood of their victims and taking their skulls to honor their new master, the Blood God Khorne.

A solid mix of ranged support and close combat ferocity, this army is a great starting force for any new Horus Heresy player, and also makes a great addition to any existing World Eaters collection.

Join us in thanking Marc Raley and his team – all listed above – most of whom are veterans of the NOCF Artists’ Consortium, and a few who are brand new.

A Bolt Pistol is a smaller version of the Bolter in standard use by the Adeptus Astartes and other Imperial forces such as the Orders Militant of the Adepta Sororitas and certain members of the Astra Militarum and the Imperial Navy. Powerful and utilitarian sidearms, Bolt Pistols have seen service withing many of the Imperium’s military forces since its inception in the 30th Millennium. The current standard pattern in use amongst the Space Marines is the Mark III.

This beautifully painted prop Bolt Pistol would look great in anyone’s display cabinet, and would also be the perfect accompaniment to any Space Marine cosplay.

Our thanks to all involved in the creation and donation of this very cool prop!

Trolls are the lovable, blue-skinned brutes of the Hordes universe. Trollkin traditionally live in loosely organized, tightly knit communities on the fringes of (or completely removed from) the rest of civilization in the Iron Kingdoms. The escalation of warfare in their lands has led to the trolls uniting as a people to defend themselves and their lands.

This fantastic, 75-point army would look great in anyone’s display cabinet, and can obviously also be used in games of Hordes (from Privateer Press).

Our thanks to James Craig and his team of Painting Heroes, who are returning for their second year as part of the NOCF Artists’ Consortium.a

2018 MODEL: 30K or 40K “SOLAR MORTIS,” Warlord Titan of the Legio Fureans

2018 MODEL: 30K or 40K “SOLAR MORTIS,” Warlord Titan of the Legio Fureans
Painted/Donated by:  John Stiening of 40K Hobby Blog
$5 – Unlimited Tickets – Potential Record Breaker!!
On July 1, 2018: Purchase tickets here
Proceeds will benefit Doctors Without Borders

The Warlord-class Titan is a large and powerful type of Battle Titan, armed with much more firepower than its counterpart, the smaller Reaver-class Titan. The Warlord appears to be the most common class of Battle Titan in use by the Titan Legions of the Imperium of Man, and many Adeptus Mechanicus Forge Worlds field their own patterns of this class.

Due to their immense size, Warlord Titans are not nearly as fast or agile as the Reaver-class Titans or the Warhound Scout Titans, but they more than make up for this failing with their sheer firepower and heavily armoured bulks.

The Legio Fureans (Tiger Eyes) is a Traitor Titan Legion of the Dark Mechanicus that repudiated its oaths to the Emperor of Mankind and followed the Warmaster Horus into the service of the Ruinous Powers during the Horus Heresy. The Legio Fureans was a Titan Legion with a well-deserved reputation for ferocity and unpredictability. Nevertheless, they amassed a war record of highest distinction in the battles of the Great Crusade. It was this triumphant history and the many martial plaudits that caused the more disquieting rumors that surrounded the Legio and its practices to be overlooked.

This amazing miniature (BIGature, more like it!) would look awesome in anyone’s display cabinet, and can also be used in The Horus Heresy or Warhammer 40,000 (from Forgeworld/Games Workshop).

John Stiening, who has been with the NOCF Artist’s Consortium from the beginning, spent hundreds of hours bringing this behemoth to the gates of our Summer Raffles. Please join us in thanking him for his time and generosity.

An ancient Lord of Contagion, a member of the legendary Death Guard Legion, squares off against a relative newcomer, a Primaris Lieutenant of the Blood Angels Chapter of the Adeptus Astartes. Although new technologies have been used to create the Primaris Marine, it remains to be seen if he might carry the taint that flows through the veins of his older battle brothers. In the case of the Death Guard Lord, there can be no doubt of his taint.

These beautifully painted models would look great in anyone’s display cabinet, and can also be used to lead a Bllod Angels and Death Guard army in Warhammer 40,000 (from Games Workshop).

This Ultramarine Primaris Captain is one of a kind. Internationally-renowned artist, Roman Lappat, put a lot of heart into the conversion work – as well as the paint job – to make this Captain stand out beside all others. This work of art is both unique in appearance, and even more beautiful for the painting knowledge that guided the colors. Note the strong zenithal light, OSL, true material damage, and freehand work which created the atmospheric base.

This would be a great piece to study, a gorgeous piece for display, or – with its removable plinth – a model on the gaming table.

Originally bred as menial slave labor, the Brutes long ago shook off their yokes and forged their own way in the wastelands of Samaria. They live amongst other Outcast settlements, but often look to Freeton, a town led by the infamous Judge Books, for guidance. The Brute Court is a loose organization that would prefer a quiet life, but will kneel for no upstart warlord.

The foremost of the Knights-Errant, Nathaniel Garro was once a Battle-Captain of the Legiones Astartes Death Guard. Though he served his Primarch with honour and dedication, he was condemned as unworthy and, along with countless thousands of Legionaries who could not be counted on to tread the path of the Traitor, was betrayed at Isstvan III.

Surviving to bring word of the treachery to Terra, Garro renounced his oaths to the Death Guard and pledged his life and loyalty to Malcador the Sigillite, swearing to undertake any mission, no matter how perilous, in the ultimate defense of humanity.

This elite miniature would look great on display, and can also be used in The Horus Heresy (from Forgeworld/Games Workshop). Rules can be found in Book 6 – Retribution – and on his page on the Forgeworld website.

For ten thousand years Mortarion, Lord of the Death Guard, has crushed his enemies upon the field of battle. Surrounded by chittering Daemon mites, droning flies and noxious plague vapours, Mortarion swoops into battle on vast, creaking wings. the thudding beat of these foul pinions fills the enemy with crawling dread, even as they waft the reek of death across their lines. To even stand in the presence of the Death Lord is lethal, opponents choking and collapsing as they succumb to the myriad plagues that churn the air around him.

This massive model would look great in anyone’s display cabinet, and can be used to lead your Death Guard army in Warhammer 40,000 (from Games Workshop).

The office of Captain-General is one of the most powerful military appointments in the Imperium. It confers full responsibility for the overall defense of the Sol System, Terra, the Imperial Palace and, ultimately, the Golden Throne and the Emperor himself. Many claim that Trajann Valoris is the greatest warrior to hold the title of Captain-General since the Emperor strode the stars, having proven himself to be dynamic and effective; qualities that make him ideally suited to lead in this age of unprecedented aggression.

A truly epic sculpt from CMON’s board game Massive Darkness, in Roman’s typically unique and soulful style. A green mosh base supports the red powerful colors used on the figure. Note the cool texture work all over the model, precise use of light and shadow on all different shapes, and study Roman’s personal brushstroke on this classic-feeling miniature sculpt.

Roman’s basework aimed for a cool looking gaming base that was put on top of a black wooden plinth to make it stand out. The figure (including base) can be removed for gaming purposes.

Tickets sales end April 16 at 12pm EST (or earlier if sold out). There are only 1,000 tickets available, at $5 each, which means your chances of winning are much better than surviving a clash with these fierce Northmen!

The winner will be announced later that day and broadcast via our social media channels.
