ARTIST CONSORTIUM APPLICATION

If you would like to become a member of the NOVA Open Charitable Foundation (NOCF) Artist Consortium, the Board of Directors will review your portfolio and weigh it against the high standards of the NOCF Artist Consortium (AC). Based on their findings, the Board of Directors may extend a personal invitation to join the AC, the NOCF’s international group of exceptional miniature artists dedicated to fundraising for charitable causes and advancing the prestige of the tabletop wargaming community worldwide. The Board of Directors will determine the area where your skills will show best or provide you with recommendations on how you can improve for re-application in the near future.

BACKGROUND:
The NOVA Open Charitable Foundation, established in January 2013, is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation in the United States. This status allows us to legally run online raffles, and other fundraising events, on behalf of tabletop wargamers. In fact, NOCF was created to demonstrate the generosity and compassion of this community by showcasing its ability to raise funds for charitable causes.

FUNDRAISERS & CHARITIES:
NOCF’s fundraisers include the online Seasonal Raffles, and the Silent Auction and Lounge (run at the NOVA Open annual convention). We are proud to report that, to date, NOCF has donated over $463K to charities such as Doctors Without Borders, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and Fisher House Foundation.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
NOCF could not exist without the incredible generosity of those who donate their time and talent to the cause. If you take a minute to scroll through our past raffles, you will understand how this group of miniature artists has expanded to match the growing number of raffles we offer (just 3 in 2013 to 64 in 2020!) By agreeing to join this prestigious group, you not only get to enjoy this community of artists who share your incredible talents, but you become part of the magic that comes from giving of yourself to a greater cause. NOCF will list your donation with your name and any social media link you would like us to use on our website’s Artists page.
