Please take this opportunity to dig deep in support of Breast Cancer research to honor one of our own, artist-instructor Michelle Farnsworth. Just a few months ago, she received an end-of-life diagnosis as a result of metastatic breast cancer. Having courageouosly battled the disease, this brave warrior  decided to share her story publicly as a reminder to  us all that there is still work to be done!
 
Creature Caster immediately reached out to Michelle with the idea to collaborate on a miniature which would contain her essence and provide a legacy in this community long after she is gone. "Maltique" is the result of that collaboration ~ and the company has pledged half the purchase price of every model to BC Cancer Foundation. 
 
Studio painter, Taylor Holloway, then approached NOCF hoping we would sense the importance of this opportunity. How could we not? Creature Caster and Taylor were offering the Maltique featured on their site as a fall raffle; in turn, NOCF has pledged 85% of all ticket sales to BCRF in Michelle's honor.
