This is not a raffle, but a story:
 
ELLE FIRESPRAY shipped this incredible work of art to NOCF and USPS tracking indicates it was delivered ~ but it did not arrive, it has simply disappeared!  We cannot say what happened to it or where it is today.
 
She wrote about "Freya the Conqueror" on FB: "Freya is finished. I'll be mailing her out this week and a huge shoutout to @novacharity for letting me be part of their team for the upcoming giveaways to help Doctors Without Borders. By the way, I added some rocks and sticks to the base from my hiking last winter at the Tettegouche State Park, on the North Shore of Minnesota, so a part of my home is going with her."
 
If you've ever spent dozens of hours painting a miniature  ~ even if it is not to the high level of an Elle Firespray ~ you know the loss she is feeling right now. The grief doubles when one realizes it was donated  to the NOCF raffle to help raise funds for Doctors Without Borders.
 
NOCF receives hundreds of packages each year and this has never happened. We have filed a claim and remain hopeful Freya will show up for our next raffle.
